Tom Emory
Tom Emory is a United States Air Force veteran who proudly served four years at Fairchild Air Force Base during the Gulf War era. Following his military service, Tom dedicated more than 25 years to coaching and mentoring young athletes, specializing in the game of basketball.
- He successfully led boys and girls basketball programs at both the high school and nationally recognized club levels, with many of his teams competing on the Under Armour and Adidas circuits. Throughout his coaching career, Tom’s passion has been helping athletes build confidence, character, and the skills needed to succeed both on and off the court.
- Today, Tom serves as a strategic development consultant with SmartFit Inc, working in the fields of neurocognitive performance and brain health. He earned his level 2 sports neuro training certification at the UFC Performance Institute.
- Through smart fit technology, he helps athletes improve reaction time, decision-making, focus, and overall performance.
- In addition to working with athletes, Tom utilizes smart fit to educate, support, and train healthcare professionals, educators, coaches, businesses, and individuals in the application of neurocognitive performance training. His mission is to help people improve cognitive function, enhance quality of life, and reach their full potential through evidence-based brain performance training.
Tom also spent 10 successful years working alongside his wife Shannon as a property and casualty insurance agent with MetLife Auto & Home. He and Shannon are proud parents of two children and grandparents of two grandchildren. Their family is rooted in faith, committed to serving others, and dedicated to making a positive difference in their community.
