Mrs. Kathy Colkitt

Kathy Colkitt brings 30 years of mortgage expertise and a lifetime of crisis advocacy to everything she does across the Inland Northwest. Her work is anchored by a simple philosophy:

“If we can’t help our family, friends, and neighbors, why are we here?”

Kathy puts that mindset into practice by pairing extensive loan options with forward-thinking financial strategies, including specialized solutions like a wealth-building, first-lien HELOC.

Her commitment to advocacy is deeply personal. Following the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, Brandi, Kathy channeled her family’s experience through crisis into helping others navigate their hardest moments.

She has authored three bestselling books to teach families effective advocacy and founded BMC Foundation and BMC Enterprise to ensure others have the critical liaison support they need.
Kathy extends that dedication through hands-on community service as a certified First Responder Chaplain for Cheney Fire and Police, trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).

Her background also spans 12 years of sexual assault advocacy, four years as a crisis foster parent alongside her husband, and current service on the board of United We Rescue.

Whether helping a homebuyer navigate financing or walking someone through an unimaginable crisis, Kathy dedicates her work to protecting and uplifting her community. When she is not serving others, she enjoys spending time in nature and cherishing life with her family and friends.
